NestContact (“we”, “our”, “app”) helps individuals and businesses manage contacts, agenda items, notes, offerings, finance records, feedback, and loyalty programmes. The app can be used locally, while optional cloud features require Google sign-in.
Who Is Responsible for Your Data
NestContact is independently operated from VRA 16, Vidhya Residence Association, Thodupuzha, Idukki, Kerala 685584, India. For NestContact account and service questions, contact mail.nestcontact@gmail.com.
When a business uses NestContact to manage its customers or collect feedback, that business generally decides why and how the customer information is used and is the data controller. NestContact processes that customer information to provide the service to the business.
1. Information We Collect
Contacts data (optional): If you grant permission, we can read your device contacts to help you view and manage contact details inside the app.
User-entered data: Notes, reminders, follow-ups, and other information you add in the app.
Cloud account data: When you sign in with Google, we may receive your name, email, Google account identifier, and profile image. We do not receive your Google password.
Business and relationship data: Information you add may include labels, agenda items, offerings, packages, coupons, images, employee targets, balances, income, expenses, payments, feedback responses, and loyalty activity.
Feedback and public-page submissions: When you submit a feedback form or contact a business through a NestContact public page, we collect the information you provide, such as your responses, contact details, and any optional images. The business that published the page can view that submission.
Purchase information: If you subscribe, Apple or Google processes the payment. We use RevenueCat to help verify subscription access. We receive subscription status and transaction-related identifiers, but do not receive or store your full payment-card details.
2. How We Use Information
We use the information only to provide app features such as:
- Displaying and managing contacts
- Creating reminders and follow-ups
- Showing your agenda and widgets
- Synchronising selected workspace data between your devices
- Operating feedback forms, loyalty programmes, coupons, and offerings
- Creating and displaying business public pages where a business chooses to publish information
- Providing, restoring, and administering subscription access
Legal Bases
Where the GDPR applies, we process account and cloud-service information as necessary to provide the service you request; permission-based device data, such as phone contacts, only after you choose to grant the relevant device permission; and limited service-security, fraud-prevention, and improvement information for our legitimate interests in operating a secure, reliable service. A business using NestContact is responsible for identifying and communicating its legal basis for its own customer data.
3. Data Storage
NestContact stores data locally on your device. When cloud sync or an online feature is enabled, selected data is also stored using Supabase authentication, database, server, and file-storage services. Authorised members of a shared workspace may access workspace records according to their permissions.
Businesses control the information they choose to publish on their NestContact public page. Please do not include personal information in a public profile or feedback submission unless you intend for the relevant business to receive it.
We use service providers to operate NestContact, including Supabase for authentication, database, server, and file-storage services; Google for optional sign-in; RevenueCat for subscription access; and Apple or Google for in-app purchases. These providers process data only as needed to provide their services to us and you.
We do not sell your data.
We do not share your personal data with third parties for advertising.
4. Permissions
READ_CONTACTS: Used to display your phone contacts inside the app when you choose to import/view them.
NestContact may also request photo, file, camera, or notification access when you use a related feature. Permissions can be changed through your device settings.
5. Data Deletion
You can delete local app data by clearing storage or uninstalling the app. Unlinking a device removes downloaded workspace data from that device but does not delete cloud data.
To permanently delete your NestContact cloud identity and associated account data, use the deletion option in the app or visit Delete your account. A sole-member workspace is deleted with its cloud records. A shared business workspace remains for its other authorised members, and operational records may remain where controlled by that business or required by law.
Authenticated deletion requests submitted through the app or website are processed immediately. If manual assistance is needed, we aim to complete the request within 30 days. Deleted information may remain in encrypted or otherwise protected backups for up to 30 additional days before being permanently overwritten, unless a longer retention period is required by law.
You can also ask questions about, or request access to or correction of, your account information by emailing us at the address below. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
Your Privacy Rights
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability of personal information that NestContact controls. You may also withdraw permission-based access through device settings. If your information was collected by a business through its feedback form, loyalty programme, or public page, contact that business first using the privacy details shown on the form or page; it controls that customer information.
If you are in the EEA or UK, you may also complain to your local data-protection supervisory authority.
6. Children's Privacy
NestContact is not intended for children under 13.
